ASDO is designed to match the purchasing needs of the aviation industry at John F. Kennedy International and LaGuardia airports with the broad range of businesses located in Queens County.
ASDO is funded by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and administered by the Aviation Development Council. Founded in 1984, ASDO has been providing its FREE services to Queens-based businesses, airlines, the Federal Aviation Administration, various Port Authority offices, major contractors and ancillary airport companies.

The value of contract dollars facilitated by ASDO has been tremendous. Since our inception, we have assisted Queens firms in obtaining over 4,000 contracts with the aviation industry totaling more than $442 million. ASDO has also provided cost and timesaving procurement services for aviation industry buyers while enabling local businesses to “get their piece of the sky.”
